Starting today (May 15) and running until September 15th, certain areas of Sylvan Lake will require visitors to pay for their parking.
Between the hours of 10:00 am and 9:00 pm, those using designated parking must pay:
- $3.00/ hour
- $30.00/ day (in parking lots)
- $126.50/ annual parking pass
- Have a visible disabilities placard? Persons with disabilities park free in designated disability parking spaces.

Residents of Sylvan Lake do not need to pay for parking but must register their vehicles.
- Residents can add up to 4 vehicles.
- You must apply for 4 permits, one for each vehicle.
- You must upload images of your proof of residency and proof of address documents for each permit.
- Keep your images handy.
- Register all your vehicles.
- Parking enforcement is based on plate numbers, so you must add your vehicle to your account.
- You can also add rental vehicle plate numbers.
