| Red Deer Clinical Audiologists Ltd. has been in business since September 1988. Dr Susan Hopf B.Sc. M.S., Au.D. primary goal has been her unrelenting demand to place the clients/patients needs above all else. It has been her belief that no one manufacturer can meet the hearing health care needs of all our clients so she has strived to become familiar with all of the major hearing aid manufacturers, most of which enjoy international reputations. This she has made as a requisite of all the other audiologists employed by Red Deer Clinical Audiologists Ltd. Each manufacturer has a vast selection of hearing aids from "behind the ear" to the smallest "completely in the canal" type of aids, and the latest "open ear" style. Also from the basic, programmable aids to the newest digital aids with double microphones technology which helps reduce background noise. As you can see, audiology and hearing aid fittings are becoming a very specialised technologically advanced field with many exciting challenges. We feel this can only be met with highly trained University professionals. This is one of the reasons why all our clients will be seen, or supervised by one of our 4 Clinical Audiologists.
