Innisfail RCMP advise that they have located the truck and suspected driver in the fatal hit and run incident that happened east of Innisfail on Highway 590 on March 28th.
EMS and RCMP located a deceased male in the south ditch of Highway 590. Investigation has revealed that the male victim was dressed in black clothing and was walking Westbound on Highway 590. He was last seen alive walking on the highway at approximately 6:30 a.m... Between 6:30am and 8:09am he was struck by a vehicle that was believed to be travelling East on Highway 590.
Innisfail RCMP advise that the investigation is ongoing and additional updates will be provided when available. RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.
