The Town of Innisfail and local service clubs are offering many free activities for residents and guests to enjoy on Family Day.  

 

Innisfail Arena:  

The Innisfail Kinsmen will be at the Twin Arena for hot chocolate, coffee, music, a BBQ, wagon rides, and an all-ages free skate from noon to 3 p.m.  

Donations for Cystic Fibrosis will also be collected.   

  

Outdoor skating:  

Skating at the boarded outdoor rink and skating loop will be available on the northwest side of the Innisfail Twin Arena if conditions allow.  

  

Family Day Swim:  

Swim by donation, with proceeds going to the Innisfail Food Bank.  

Families can swim from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., or from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.  

  

Family Curling:  

Families can learn how to curl at the Innisfail Curling Club from 10 a.m. to noon.  

All equipment will be provided.   

Registration is not required, but the number of participants will be limited based on capacity.   

  

Helping Hand Fund 3-on-3 Family Day Tournament:  

Funds raised from the tournament will support the Dean Turnquist Helping Hand Fund.  

The Innisfail Kinettes will be providing hot chocolate, coffee, doughnuts, and muffins from 10 a.m. to noon.  

Teams are required to register with tournament organizers.  

  

Family Day skiing:  

Families can give skiing or snowboarding a try at the local hill (60 Street Innisfail), if conditions allow, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
